Molecules Reaches 20,000 Article Milestone

Molecules
(ISSN 1420-3049) is the leading international peer-reviewed open access journal in chemistry, published semi-monthly online by MDPI.

During its 24th year of existence, Molecules has passed another milestone by publishing the 20,000th article. Out of all articles published in the journal, almost one third, or 6524 articles, have been cited ten times or more (h-10 index).

Molecules' aim is to provide rigorous peer review and enable rapid publication of cutting-edge research to educate and inspire the scientific community worldwide. Scientists are encouraged to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible; there is no restriction on the length of papers. Full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. In addition, the availability of information on published compound samples is considered important, and authors are encouraged to register or deposit their chemical samples through the international non-profit organization Molecular Diversity Preservation International (MDPI).

Our sincere thanks go to the Editor-in-Chief of Molecules, Dr. Derek J. McPhee, and all Editorial Board members, as well as Guest Editors of Special Issues, who have ensured the continued success of the journal through their hard work and diligence.
